Thalita Teglas

Creative director · Rio de Janeiro

I create brands people understand, remember and want to use.

I am a creative director and brand designer. I have led Netflix’s art studio for Latin America, helped Itaú shape its design system and won the C2A Awards with a startup identity. Today I work as an independent professional and assemble a custom team when a project calls for it.

What to expect when working with me

Every project is different, but these five things hold for all of them.

  1. One person accountable from start to finish

You talk to me, not to a go-between. I take care of strategy, identity and creative direction, and I answer for every deliverable.

  2. A team assembled for your project

When the work needs more hands, I bring in trusted specialists, such as strategists and content writers. You know who they are, and credit goes to whoever did the work.

  3. Direct conversation and a visible process

You follow the thinking, not just the final result. I show the stages, explain the choices and, if an idea does not work, I say so.

  4. Work that holds up without me

I deliver systems, rules and guidelines so your team can use the brand consistently the next day and the next year.

  5. Honesty about fit

If your project is better served by someone else or another format, I will tell you before we start.
