Typography and illustration on Latin American vernacular culture

Letra Latina is my personal typography and illustration project on Latin American vernacular culture: what Brazil shares with its neighbors in the popular way of speaking, writing and drawing.
Proudly Latin American
The lettering is handmade, free of technical constraints, and embraces human imperfection as part of popular expression.
Popular expressions, printed
With Papel Craft, a Rio de Janeiro stationery brand, I turned four Brazilian expressions into illustrations printed on notebooks: “Vixe”, “Pipipi Popopó”, “Pó da rabiola” and “Pé na jaca”. Each illustration reflects Brazilian Portuguese and the energy of Latin America, in a collection full of color, warmth and meaning.
Deliverables
